Bar Muscle up or Ring Muscle up? Which is more Difficult?

Which is the more difficult technique? The Bar and Ring muscle up are comprised of the same three elements, 1. pull up 2. transition phase 3. dip. However they are practically two different exercises in terms of technique and difficulty, This is largely to do with the instability of the rings vs the solid fixed bar. This makes the ring muscle up arguably more difficult for both beginners and advanced practitioner. This article looks at how and why that is the case.
